Shills Strategic Reserve Collection

The Shills Strategic Reserve represents Michelle Farkas's vision of collecting as both intimate expression and public declaration. Drawing from abstract art, neo-expressionism, graffiti, street culture, and artificial intelligence, the collection maps emotional territories that feel simultaneously foreign and familiar. Since entering the Web3 space in 2023, Farkas has built upon a foundation of collecting that began in childhood, creating what she describes as "a never-ending roadmap" through visual culture.

More than aesthetic curation, this collection serves as a record of encounters and connectionsβ€”with artists, ideas, and the energetic spaces that exist beyond the physical world. Each work represents both a private moment of recognition and a shared discovery, embodying Farkas's belief that "energy finds its people." The collection stands as proof that art collecting remains one of the most personal forms of creative expression, requiring no justification beyond the collector's own sense of belonging within the worlds they choose to inhabit.

Modest

"BEAUTY PAGEANT WINNER by Modest sits at the intersection of two of the most personal threads in my life. As a child ballerina, the image of performance, presentation, and the weight placed on young girls resonates deeply with me. This work does not celebrate pageantry naively; it interrogates it. What makes this piece permanently significant to me is that it was tied to refugee relief efforts in 2025. Art that carries real-world stakes, that moves money and attention toward displaced people, is the kind of collecting I want to anchor my practice around. My father served in Desert Storm and passed away. He knew what it meant to be displaced, to operate in a world shaped by geopolitical violence. Owning a piece connected to refugee aid feels like a quiet tribute to him and to everyone caught in the aftermath of wars like the one he fought in."

Unbanked 48 by Mr. Richi

Unbanked 48

Mr. Richi

"Unbanked 48 from MONEY LAUNDERING 2: THE UNBANKED is one of the most personally meaningful pieces in my collection because it belongs to a friend who lives what it represents. He and his wife have been quiet, steady forces behind the push for financial sovereignty, doing the work without fanfare for years. This piece captures that ethos: the unbanked are not victims, they are dissenters. Watching him step out of the shadows this year, making a very public stand in Lisbon, made this work hit differently. It went from a collected piece to a document of a moment I witnessed up close. Owning it feels less like collecting and more like bearing witness."

WORDS BEYOND WORDS #219

Sasha Stiles

"WORDS BEYOND WORDS #219 by Sasha Stiles was a gift from Serc, a dear friend, fellow collector, and artist who has been one of the most consistent voices telling me to stop hiding and show the world who I really am. That he chose this piece for me was not an accident. The title says what I have believed my whole life: that words carry more than their definitions, that tone and intention and the space around language hold a meaning most people never stop to hear. Poetry taught me that. Serc reminded me to live it out loud. Owning this is not collecting. It is a mirror someone who loves you holds up and refuses to put down. And yes, I bought the book!"

The Alchemist by Adamtastic

The Alchemist

Adamtastic

"The Alchemist #142 by Adamtastic carries a weight that most pieces in my collection cannot. Adam is not just an artist I collect, he is someone I have sat with, worked with, watched create. He built a 1/1 for me live, and that experience of seeing art made in real time, made for you, changes how you understand everything else he touches. The Alchemist feels like a self-portrait of that process: the transformation of raw material into something that opens a conversation the world was not quite having yet. Adam does that. He starts conversations that matter. Owning this piece is my way of saying I was in the room when he was still warming up. And yes, I wrote about it!"

Schleier by Yusmanali

Schleier

Yusmanali

"Schleier #13 from Map of Suung Bulan pulled me in before I understood why. The colors, the desert, the eyes. Especially the eyes. I create under the name VEXA, and there is something in those eyes that belongs to her. Not literally, but in the way that an artist recognizes their own obsessions reflected back from somewhere unexpected. VEXA lives in the space between earth and cosmos, between what is human and what is something else entirely. Those eyes hold that same threshold. The desert is not emptiness. It is where things strip down to what they actually are. This piece understands that. Collecting it felt less like a purchase and more like a reunion."

Where is My Mind by GulYildizNinfa

Where is My Mind

GulYildizNinfa

"Where is My Mind #26 by GulYildizNinfa stopped me the way only work that knows something stops you. Not because it is beautiful, though it is. Because it is familiar. I have watched mental health quietly dismantle people I love for most of my life. Family members who fought battles that had no clean ending, no moment of resolution, just the ongoing work of trying to locate themselves. I know that fight from the inside too. There have been stretches where I genuinely did not know where my mind was, where I had gone, whether I would find my way back. This piece does not dress that up. The title asks the question plainly. Owning it is part of how I acknowledge that chapter without letting it be the last word."
